(This may be the calculated FTE or the % enrolled.)

  20. GPA Discrepancies Step 1 - Individual Audit Unlike a Mass Audit that is performed on a range of students, the individual audit is run on an individual and it automatically runs a current year GPA calculation on the student as well. Path: Student/Grades/History/Audit

  21. GPA Discrepancies Step 2 – Report Comparison • Run the following two reports for comparisons: • Washington Transcript • Menu Path – Student Management / State Reports / Standardized High School Transcript / By Individual • Student Course/Grade History Records Report. • Menu Path – Student Management / Office / Grading / History

  24. GPA Discrepancies Compare the Reports (continued) Determine the Year(s) in which the discrepancy in the total(s) exists: Add the individual line items for each school year from the Summary area of the Transcript to determine totals for that year:

  25. GPA Discrepancies Compare the Reports (continued) Locate the yearly Totals on the Student Course/Grade History Records Report. Compare to totals calculated on the Transcript:

  26. GPA Discrepancies Details of the Discrepancy – Grade Marks: Locate the records for the discrepancy year(s) in question on both the Washington Transcript Report AND the Student Course/Grade History Records Report.

  27. GPA DiscrepanciesDetails of the Discrepancy – Grade Marks: • Notice the P Grade has ‘Yes’ in the GPA Column • The WA State Transcript will not include P grades in the GPA Calculation • The Skyward Report will include a P in the GPA Calculation • Consequently the GPA reported on the Skyward Report will be incorrect

  28. GPA Discrepancies Details of the Discrepancy – GPA Points: School Year 2007 records from the Student Course/Grade History Records Report:

  29. GPA Discrepancies Solution for Incorrect GPA Points: Correct the GPA Credit Value in Grade History Path: Student/Grades/History/Edit Credits (after correct course is selected)

  30. GPA Discrepancies Final Steps of Correction: • Re-run individual Audit for the student(s) in question • Run and print a Washington Transcript Report for the student(s) in question • Run and print a Student Course/Grade History Records Report for student(s) in question; or select the CY GPA/Tot. Button on the GPA tab to view the Current GPA • Compare the resulting GPA in the “Cum” lines. If all discrepancies have been corrected, the totals should now match
