  2. Passover is a celebration of deliverance and freedom for the Jewish nation, and that celebration continues today as Jews "from the four corners of the earth" are returning to the Holy Land.(Isaiah 11:12)

  3. “Celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because it was on this very day that I brought your divisions out of Egypt.” (Exodus 12:17)

  4. Passover is more than a meal.

  5. For thousands of years, Passover has been a treasured and joyous celebration for Jews around the world.

  6. This holy day commemorates Israel’s deliverance from bondage in Egypt.

  7. But Pharaoh’s heart was hardened. He would not let the people go despite nine devastating plagues.

  8. “Take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses.” (Exodus 12:7)

  9. “When I see the blood, I will pass over you . . .” (Exodus 12:13)

  10. Passover marks God’s redemption and the birth of Israel as a nation.

  11. The return of the Jewish people to the Holy Land has been ongoing for more than 100 years. “Aliyah” is the word used to describe the immigration of Jews back to Israel.

  12. Through the “Wings” program, Christians have been able to participate in fulfilling Scripture:

  13. “See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders.” (Isaiah 49:22)

  14. Today, Jews from around the world are making a “second exodus” and returning to the Holy Land, where they can celebrate Passover together freely in the Promised Land.

  15. Lost Tribe Returns Home to Israel Israel National News: Jan. 19, 2010 – Ethiopian Aliyah (immigration to Israel) resumed Tuesday morning, with the landing of Ethiopian Airlines Flight 404 with 81 new immigrants of the Falashmura community. Joyful reunions of relatives who had not seen each other for ten years were held through the welcoming hail.

  16. Even now, Ethiopian Jews are returning at a rate of about 300 month to their spiritual and biblical homeland.

  17. For these Jews, who for generations have continued to practice Jewish laws and customs despite great obstacles, celebrating Passover this year is especially poignant.

  18. “Remember the day you went out of Egypt all the days of your life.” (Deuteronomy 16:3)

  19. Children are encouraged to take an active role in celebrating Passover.

  20. “And when your children ask, ‘What does this ceremony mean to you?’ then tell them,

  21. ‘It is the Passover sacrifice to the Lord, who passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt and spared our homes when he struck down the Egyptians.’”(Exodus 12:26–27)

  22. Thanks to supporters of The Fellowship, the Ethiopian Jews will celebrate this Passover freely and joyously, and…

  23. Home at last.
