  12. Eating breakfast: prevents us from eating unhealthy food during the day

  13. The typical Polish breakfast is:

  14. Scrambled eggs

  15. Cold meat

  16. Sausages

  17. Cheese

  18. Cottage cheese

  19. What do you think of it?

  20. Older generations sometimes have milk soups while teenagers choose more often milk and cornflakes.

  21. However, many Polish people are in a hurry in the morning and they skip breakfast and eat sandwiches later at work or at school.

  22. Breakfast has always been considered to be the most important meal of the day. However, the biggest problem of the people today is lack of time to celebrate this first meal and many people choose a quick version – a croisant and coffee or tea.

  23. Our breakfast should include: - right carbohydrates- proteins- calcium- vitamines

  24. Good breakfast increases our concentration, gives energy and supports our organism, so that it can function properly in the first half of the day.

  25. Research shows that if you eat a big breakfast you will avoid snacking on unhealthy things during the day. Those who want to lose weight should start dieting no sooner than with lunch and have regular full breakfast.

  26. Why? All enzymes that digest proteins, fats and carbohydrates depend on our biological clock and their efficiency is the highest before noon. An optimal breakfast should include 500-700 calories so that your organism does not need extra energy at supper and so that you can lose weight while sleeping and while your stomach can rest.

  27. When you do sports in the morning is it better to eat breakfastbefore or after training?

  28. Never do exercise with an empty stomach!

  29.  Why? During our sleep our organism uses part of glycogen and if you don't supply any energy from the outside, so you reduce your muscle tissue instead of reducing your fat tissue.

  30. On the other hand, doing exercise when your stomach is full may be difficult and uncomfortable. So it's best to eat half of your breakfast (about 100 – 300 calories). By supplying some carbohydrates you will increase the level of sugar in your blood and fire up the mechanism of using up glycogen protecting your muscle tissue. You can eat the second part of your breakfast after the training when your muscles are more open and you can correct your glycogen level.

  31. So think twice before youskip your breakfast tomorrow!
