  1. December 3, 2012 2nd Grade O.W.L Outstanding Wise Learning Classroom News O.W.L of the week Outstanding Wise Learner Maria Stratidis Memory Verse In God I trust; I shall not be afraid. Psalm 56:11 Kris Kringle Shop our class will shop on 12/4. If you would like your child to purchase gifts please send in money. Follow our class on Twitter@ils2ndgrade & Schoolrack.com Math: We will continue to work on Unit 4 this week on Place Value: Numbers to 100. Language Arts: We are working on the main idea and supporting details as well as a good sentence. Spelling: New words were given on Monday: test will be on Friday.Students will be taking home classroom dictionaries for their definitions on Wednesdays. They are to be brought back to school and will go home each week. You can find the new weekly assignments on our website atwww.schoolrack.com/ILSTonner Science: We continue with our Science unit on plants this week. Religion: We will test on Unit 3 Bad Times and Good Times on 12/4. Students had their religion books over the weekend and a study sheet. 12/3 Zumba 7pm 12/4 BCDS meeting 7pm 12/6 Family Fun Night at Ruby Tuesdays you will need a voucher(if you don't have one pick one up in front of the school office and hand them out to your friends and family. It is good all day.) 12/7 Report cards go home 12/13 Pk-K Advent Service 7pm 12/19 1-8 Advent Service 7pm 12/21 Early Dismissal 12:45pm no pm extended care
