Ion Beam Technology Support for Public and Industrial Research in Materials Science

SPIRIT project aims to support research using ion beam technology applications in materials science, biomedicine, and environment. With ion energies ranging from 10 keV to 100 MeV, the project includes modification, analysis, detector development, and more. Lead by FZ Dresden-Rossendorf, Univ. Surrey, CENBG Bordeaux, Univ. Leuven, and ETH Zurich, it offers transnational access to 6 key laboratories and joint research activities involving up to 20 laboratories. Explore targeted single ion irradiation, nanolithography, multibeam irradiation, and high-resolution materials analysis. Find a detailed list in the work programme.
