  2. I. Solving Equations with Fractions Solve the following equations that contain only 1 fraction: 1) 2) 3)

  3. II. Solving Equations with More Than 1 Fraction: To solve , we want to ELIMINATE all fractions first. First we must the LEASTCOMMONDENOMINATOR (or the  LCD). Then, by using the MULTIPLICATION Property of Equality, MULTIPLY each term in the equation by the LCD. After this, we simply solve the new equation using the steps we learned yesterday.
