Introduce and Promote Yourself or Your Team | 1 Point Please provide a brief description (bullet points and not more than 100 words) and an image on how you informed your school community that you have been selected as a 2017/18 MiWay Student Ambassador. To introduce ourselves to the St. Joseph school community as the 2017/2018 MiWay Ambassadors, we made an announcement on our schools P.A. system telling the students who we are, and what our role would be.

Interactive Activity - MiWay Services and Programs | 1 Point Date: February 27th 2018 A short paragraph providing details of the interactive session (e.g. how you promoted your activity, what activities did you do, how many students dropped by): To promote our activity, we made an announcement a couple days prior, and advertised the event on our Instagram and Twitter accounts. The activity we chose to do was a Kahoot survey that informs the students of simple MiWay facts such as the fare changes. We did it during lunch so there were lots of kids there. Due to some technical difficulties we only had about 100 answers per question.

Information Table – Mississauga Moves – Future of Transit | 1 Point Date: March 28th 2018 A short paragraph providing details of the information table (e.g. how you promoted your table, what activities did you do, how many students dropped by): To promote this event, we advertised on instagram, twitter and over the announcements. To make our table stand out we tried to create a orange colour scheme, bought custom stickers to spice up the experience, and turned our yellow ballot box into a mini MiWay bus. Approximately 75 people participated in our survey.

PA Announcements (Optional) Date: January 19th , March 28th Please provide two examples of P.A. announcements that you created during the program We made many announcements during our time as ambassadors. One for introducing ourselves, informing everyone we put up the map, the Kahoot activity, the table survey activity, and announcing winners pulled from the ballot box.
