Mission, Objectives, & Endstate MISSION: USCC executes Battle Command Conference (BCC) XIII from 12 – 14 April 2010 at West Point, NY in order to inspire graduating USMA and ROTC cadets with the knowledge and experience of combat veteran Officers and NCOs. OBJECTIVES: Cadets learn first-hand from battle-seasoned mentors the challenges of serving with and leading Soldiers of all ranks Cadets and mentors conduct an inventory of their Character, Competence, and Leadership in order to develop a balance of these critical traits Combat veteran mentors impart knowledge and experience Mentors and cadets are inspired by participating in a Leader-to-Leader (L2L) high energy, facilitated conversation, through small groups using various combat scenarios experienced by Leaders in Afghanistan Mentors increase their operational awareness, mental readiness, and overall understanding of officership and developing leaders of character ENDSTATE: All members of the Class of 2010 (USMA & ROTC) gain a greater understanding of Officership as it applies to Battle Command.
