  1. “Embracing Change To Experience Life!” What Does It Take To Change? Revelation 4:1; 2 Corinthians 3:18

  2. MAIN POINTS The Christian Life by design is one of EVER-INCREASING GLORY. Ever CHANGING into the image and likeness of Christ.

  3. Proverbs 4:18…. “The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” (NIV) It is the process of ever decreasing & ever increasing!

  4. John 3:30…. “He must increase, but I must decrease.” (NKJV) John 15:1-7…. … LIFE OF PROGRESSION from bringing forth fruit, to more fruit, to much fruit.

  5. Galatians 2:20 As we grow into Christ’s image and likeness we are moving from glory to glory! How then, can we grow from one level of glory to another level?

  6. MAIN POINTS We Must See To Be 1. Colossians 3:2…. “Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” (NIV)

  7. There must be a “beholding,” there must be a deliberate setting of our attention upon the Lord Jesus Christ.

  8. Revelation 4:1…. “After this I looked, and there before me was a door standing open in heaven. And the voice I had first heard speaking to me like a trumpet said, ‘Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.’” (NIV)

  9. We Must Be Committed 2. The work of the Spirit in our lives – 3 stages…. • Manifesting Himself TO US. • Manifesting Himself IN US. • Manifesting Himself THROUGH US.

  10. God’s desire is for YOU to be a manifestation of His power. Romans 8:19…. “The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.” (NIV)

  11. 3. We Must Be Able To Hear Hear what? We must not only hear what He has said, but what He is saying now to you regarding your LIFE.

  12. The general population of the church is content to READ what He has said, but NOT to LIVEBY His commandments (God’s Word).

  13. Deuteronomy 6:3.… “Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you.” (NIV) Matthew 28:20

  14. We Must Be In Communication 4. To see CHANGES taking place in our lives, we must graduate from “commandment”(what He has said) to “communion” – in relationship to know Him enough to recognize and know what He is saying (what He is saying to you now).

  15. Note: Communion is a choice! The closer we live to the king.... • the easier it is to hear his voice. • the more we will take on his attributes.

  16. 5. There Must Be A Restoration RESTORATION of what? The fear of God – reverential awe for the presence of God and His Power.

  17. Many Christians are taking God’s presence lightly, not serious, and don’t care. A careless kind of attitude!

  18. Joshua 3:4…. “Then you will know which way to go, since you have never been this way before. But keep a distance of about a thousand yards between you and the ark; do not go near it.” (NIV)

  19. Ask God to help us cultivate a healthy respect for God’s presence each time we come together as a church. Proverbs 8:13.… “To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.” (NIV)

  20. Proverbs 9:10…. “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” (NIV; cf. Psalm 111:10)

  21. CONLCUSION SEE COMMIT HEAR COMMUNE RESTORE To see CHANGES in our lives in 2012, we need to consider these 5 things seriously…
