GUIDELINES • US DOE CALCULATES OUR NEED-census, free and reduced, 506(VI), Federally exempt residency • Spending guidelines-Comprehensive Needs Assessment, Integrated Action Plans, Allowable Costs, Parent Input-Surveys • % to each school site based on the enrollment and need. • Accountability-AIPAC By Laws, Time & Effort, Purchasing records, Comprehensive Needs Assessment, Action Plans, Tribal Consultation

Title VI-$238,084 .......“help Indian students meet the same State academic content and student academic achievement standards used for all students while addressing the language and cultural needs of Indian students. Such programs include supporting the professional development of teachers of Indian students.”

Title VIII, Impact Aid $2,422,707 • Indian Policies and Procedures-34 cfr222, WUSD1 Board Policy IHBJ-R • IPPs describe how an LEA is going to accomplish effective consultation with Tribes and parents about the equal participation of Indian children in its educational program consistent with the specific principles. • Replacement funding in lieu of property taxes. • Tribal consultation, PL 114-95, Sec. 8538-AIPAC/District

Professional Development • For teachers/Counseling Staff • Presented by Certified/Classified District Staff • Collaborate with Academic Coaches for the S.O.S program for new teachers (Title II) • Training supplies/culturally sensitive fieldtrips/PD for staff. • Stipends (consolidated with Title I) for afterhours training and planning for staff not on contract time.

  11. Benefits & Insurances • Insurance Cost--$8171.28 subject to staff member FTE • Benefits (Workman's Comp, Unemployment, Social Security, Medicare, Retirement, Long Term Disability) 24.55% of FTE Example: Salary=$10,000 @ 1.0 FTE Insurance=$8171.28 Benefits= $2288 Total=$20,459.28
