  2. Annual Charity Game Ticket License • $200 per year • 7 Days a week 8am-2am • Tickets can be sold anywhere on the premises • License expires July 31 of each year

Getting Started-Buying and Selling • Ticket cost is set by the Charitable Gaming • Tickets can only be purchased from a licensed supplier • Tickets can by sold • Behind the bar • Ticket seller • Ticket dispensing machine • Machines can be rented or purchased from a supplier • Supplier contact information is available at www.Michigan.gov/cg

  4. Making a Profit with Charity Game Tickets Sales $2400 Prizes $1800 Box Cost $240 Profit $360 Sales $6000 Prizes $4625 Box Cost $550 Profit $825

  5. Limit access to all unsold tickets, winning tickets & cash. • Add ticket purchases to inventory when received. • Complete physical inventory count of all unsold tickets. • Remember the machine count is NOT allowed & is NOT reliable Protecting Your Profit

  6. Deface winning tickets when redeemed. • Check serial numbers when redeeming tickets • Use a Marker or Hole Punch to deface Protecting Your Profit

  7. Balance cash & winning tickets Cash + winning tickets = Start Cash Total Protecting Your Profit

Playing Charity Game Tickets • Must be 18 years or older to play Charity Game Tickets • Chairpersons/record keepers cannot purchase or play Charity Game Tickets • Employees receiving a tax form from the organization can never purchase or play Charity Game Tickets • Volunteers/Workers cannot purchase or play the day they are working

  11. Prize Bank • Start cash must remain consistent & be the same amount each week • Only write a check to replenish start cash when prizes exceeded sales at the end of the week • Do not withhold money from weekly deposit
