  2. Please be advised that there has been a news broadcast on WNEP regarding a federal investigation of a company called PCM Construction Management located in Moosic, Pa.  We would like to eliminate any confusion and offer clarity to our membership on this matter. One of our Board members, Fred Sakacs, is the owner and president of Pocono Construction Management, Inc. (PCM) which is not associated in any way with the company being investigated.  Fred has personally spoken with the news director at the station and was assured that the staff at WNEP will be advised that there is another company with a similar name in the area and that any future follow up broadcasts on this story will clearly identify the company’s location and the names of the persons involved in the investigation. We felt it was important for our members to have accurate information to insure there are no concerns about a Director on our Board. Sincerely, The Hideout Board of Directors

  3. Notice to the Membership On your 2014 POA Assessment bill there is a charge listed for Water Management Assessment. On prior Assessment bills it was listed as Stormwater Management Assessment.   The Water Management Assessment is not affiliated in any way with RS&W or the ongoing RS&W Project.  It is for permitting the corrective actions needed to preserve and improve our Stormwater infrastructure and management of the Hideout Property Owners Association. We apologize for any confusion and thank you for helping us plan and improve your quality of life at the Hideout.

  17. Easy Recycling Comes to the Hideout The Hideout is now using a single stream (co-mingle program) which means that you are no longer required to separate out the various types of glass, plastic, cardboard or paper. There is now only one co-mingled container for metal cans, plastic bottles & containers #1-5 & 7, paper, paper cardboard, dairy & juice containers, flattened cardboard & paperboard, and glass bottles and jars. We just ask that you be sure that all containers are emptied and rinsed before disposing. This new recycling program will reduce both the overall trash tonnage going into the landfill and cost to the association. Members can also purchase recycling containers for their home. The cost per container is $10.00 and is available at the POA Office. This new recycling program will not only be a convenience for you, our members, (open 24/7) but will also further encourage recycling efforts in the Hideout. (see chart on next slide)

  18. Emergency Access RoadsLakeview and Woodpoint CourtA dangerous condition arises on busy weekends from vehicles parking on the side of the road on Lakeview and Woodpoint Court. Vehicles parked on the side of the road in this location impede traffic and could possibly block access to the area by emergency vehicles. Due to this condition, the Board has passed a motion deeming Lakeview Court and Woodpoint Court “Emergency Access Roads.” No parking will be permitted on the side of the road in this area. The Public Safety Department will aggressively enforce this rule. Anyone who parks in this location will be subject to a $125.00 fine and a $250.00 fine for repeated offenses.
