  2. Who Are We and How Did We Get Started? • Recognized need for voice for Accounts Payable as related to PeopleSoft product • In May 2005 Elkay hosted “interest-finding” meeting • Initial official meeting October 2005 • Officially Recognized by PeopleSoft/Oracle via OAUG

Introduction of Steering Committee • Michelle Newell, Supervisor/AP&AR, Elkay Manufacturing Company – Oak Brook, IL • Sherry DePew, General Manager, Boise Cascade - Boise, ID • Patrick Savage, Technical Manager for Financial Expense Applications, Hewitt Associates - Lincolnshire, IL • Jeanne Kvistad, Area Supervisor of Credit and Transaction Processing, Lab Safety and Supply, Inc. – Janesville, WI • Terri Dunn, AP Manager, Heidrick Struggle - Chicago, IL

PSAP Mission Statement • To identify and prioritize opportunities to enhance the functionality of the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable module for the mutual benefit of the Users Community and the PeopleSoft/Oracle Corporation. To be extremely active with the integration of PeopleSoft, Oracle and JD Edwards systems in the years to come.

  5. PSAP Objectives • Provide networking opportunities for PSAP members • Increase member understanding of PeopleSoft functionality and share proven business process strategies in the areas of Vendors, Vouchers, Payments, Reporting, Technical solutions and Procure-To-Pay streamline. • To enhance the functionality of the PeopleSoft/Oracle products through direct communications with Oracle.

  6. PSAP Objectives • Represent and voice the entire Peoplesoft Accounts Payable User Community’s business needs for future releases. • Provide a stable User Community base of knowledge to support PSAP members’ needs.

  7. Accomplishments • PSAP is a recognized User Group affiliated with the OAUG (Oracle Application User Group) • Established a mission statement and objectives • Established a website with SRM • Members agreed on 2 meetings annually; one in April with the SRM group and the other the third week of October • Elected board members to get us off on the right foot and to keep us focused • Have had many of our requests added to V8.9 and many are on the list for Fusion
