  1. Oracle 9i Developer Suite – Installation instructions using the textbook CDs

  2. How to Register on OTN – Go to http://otn.oracle.com/book

  3. Complete Profile Info – use an email address which you can access from school.

  4. Record Book & ISBN from book

  5. Check email for registration # and print out the email for reference during the installation.

  6. Place CD1 in the computer. When this screen appears, click Install.

  7. Click Next

  8. Provide Registration Key which was emailed from OTN

  9. Enter the registration key, click Next

  10. You must change the Name and Path --- see next slide

  11. Change the Name to ORADEV & the Path to C:\Oracle\Oradev

  12. Select Complete, then Next

  13. Leave this blank, click Next

  14. Click Install

  15. When prompted, replace Disk 1 with Disk 2, close cd drive, Click OK

  16. Wait, wait, wait

  17. Click Next

  18. Wait, wait, wait until configuration is successful.
