  2. All About Sojourner Truth’s Life growing up. Do you know how life was when Sojourner Truth was growing up? When Sojourner Truth was a child her slave name was Isabella. Since Isabella was a slave no one cared when she was born and no body wrote down her date of birth. When Isabella was 11 years old, her master who leaded her died. After that, she was sold to a new owner at a auction. That was how life was when Sojourner Truth was growing up.

Do you know any more information about how life was when Sojourner Truth was growing up.Her parents names were James and Elizabeth. She was very close to her brother Peter. Then her sisters got sold to other slave owners at another auction. Lastly, the Hardenberghs are a family who owned Isabella’s family. Overall, that was more facts about how life was Sojourner Truth was growing up.

  4. Why do we remember Sojourner Truth? Whooooo! This is the sound of people cheering for Sojourner Truth’s accomplishments. She worked on the underground railroad to free slaves. She became free from slavery in 1826. In 1850 she started speaking. She delivered a special speech at a women's convention in Akron, Ohio in December 1851. Lastly, she said and delivered many speeches about women's rights. This is why we remember Sojourner Truth.

Her famous saying was “I aint a woman.” Another fun facts is that she held a “I aint a woman” speech. She was 6 foot 2 inches tall. Furthermore, at the age of 67 in 1864 she went to Washington, DC to free slaves and she met Abraham Lincoln. In conclusion these are fun facts about Sojourner Truth.
