  4. Things you need to know about Font • refers to the type, or letters, in which a document is printed • consists of the typeface, style, size, and effect • attributes used to change appearance of font

Things you need to know about Two-Page Letters • At least two lines of the body of the letter must be carried to the 2nd page. • Avoid carrying over just the complimentary close and signature block. • AVOID • 2nd page requires: Heading, either a single or multiple line heading • Top margin is 1’’ • 2nd page should not be in letterhead, but of the same quality paper.   18. Things to know about Memos • Memorandums are correspondences written to people within the same business or organization. • Top margin is usually 1’’-2’’ depending on length of memo. Side margins are 1”. • Single spaced within paragraphs. Double spaced between paragraphs. • Formal memos use a special heading, usually preprinted on stationary.
