Pro Grammer • It does not pose as a real threat if the children text message each other abbreviating words or replacing a vowel with a number. • The children are more imaginative and creative when making up their own words and meanings in abbreviated words and letter replacements. • It is mainly to text for fun and to be quick when text messaging with abbreviated words than spelling out long sentences.
