  1. Text Messaging of Doom By Michael Ortiz Michael Ortiz

  2. Addicton • Children can spend hours at a time text messaging be and forth nonstop. • Family conflicts may be frequent between the parents attempting to exorcise the children’s use on the cell phone and the children themselves attempting to have unlimited time. Michael Ortiz

  3. Con Grammar • There can be confusion when people converse with each other in society. • Aggravates many web users who may read a website with not so many descriptive words. • Too many different words with the same meaning can cause confusion. Michael Ortiz

  4. Pro Grammer • It does not pose as a real threat if the children text message each other abbreviating words or replacing a vowel with a number. • The children are more imaginative and creative when making up their own words and meanings in abbreviated words and letter replacements. • It is mainly to text for fun and to be quick when text messaging with abbreviated words than spelling out long sentences. Michael Ortiz

  5. Development of RSI • Inflammation upon the thumbs and wrists. • Repetitive texting, especially upon small hand-held mobile phones daily. • Millions of children suffer RSI each year, and the number keeps growing with the growing amount of mobile phones being used. Michael Ortiz
