OUR MISSION… • Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. promotes choices for healthier lives and safer communities by providing professional assistance to those in need of prevention, crisis intervention, criminal justice alternatives, community outreach, substance abuse and mental health treatment services. • These services are provided to make a significant impact on the physical, emotional, and social development of children, adults, and families in our area.

Providing Care to those in Need • Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. offers a wide range of effective substance abuse, crisis intervention, and criminal justice services to persons in need throughout North Carolina. • TASC • IOP (Intensive Outpatient Groups) • Opioid Treatment Programs • Methadone Clinic

Providing Care to Those in Need • HUD Horizons Housing • Permanent supportive housing for homeless clients • Actively participating in Opioid Treatment • Prevention • wide range of age appropriate, culturally sensitive, and research-based programs and services designed to promote healthy choices and help prevent problems associated with alcohol, tobacco, and other drug use.

To Prospective Students… • Great site • Definitely have enough work to get the hours • Very beneficial to anyone who wants to work in the substance abuse field • Very nice people to work with • Lots of UNCW interns!! • Contact early (before start of semester)… the application process takes up to a month!!!
