  2. PHILADELPHIA REGION • OSID (Office of Special Initiatives and Demonstrations) manages 148 grants • Total investment portfolio is $300M • Philadelphia Earmark Center is national • Division of Demonstration Grants serves DE, DC, MD, PA, VA and WV

  3. PHILA- REGION 2 OSID • Philadelphia Earmark Center (PEC) also manages Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) in Region 2 States • PEC and DDG managers and staff serve as Federal Project Officers

  4. High Growth Job Training Initiative Community-Based Job Training Grants Disability Program Navigators Region 2 Earmarks Faith-Based/CBO Initiative Grants YouthBuild Prisoner Reentry Initiative Youth Demo Grants Shared Youth Vision Pilot School District Grants DIVISION OF DEMO GRANTS

  5. DREAM TEAMS Characteristics: • Unite around a customer-centered vision of success • Data driven, master performance and reporting requirements • Expend funds timely; maximize $ • Align services with partners to reduce duplication
