  2. What the session will cover: 1. Summary regarding My Progress and background 2. Information about the Trimester 3 Pilot (May-August 2018) 3. Update with where we are for 18/19 academic year 4. Plan for 19/20 academic year 5. Visual demonstration of the my progress website and app

  3. What is My Progress? Online E-Learning system (used to replace Paper OAR book – practical) Generate and deploy forms / assessments to students/mentors/tutors Logging timesheet information Access through website https://enu.mkmapps.com/ Free app available to students for tablets / smart phones - which forms can be completed offline More information http://www.myprogressapp.com/ Further information for students& mentors

My Progress Pilot – Trimester 3 (May-August 2018) 2nd year Mental Health and Learning Disability students NP4 (September 2016 intake) -107 students Areas sent My Progress information along with allocation report All students trained – 2.5 hours total Majority of mentors trained and all added on system beforehand PEFs involved trained Academic Staff involved in processing OAR documents also trained

  5. 18/19 academic year moving forward…. From Sep 2018 trimester 1: - Adult, MH & LD 2nd years (September 2017 intake) introduced for NP3 along with the current pilot groups for NP5 (600+ students) From May 2019 trimester 3: Child Health 2nd years (September 2017 intake) will join MP for NP4 (75 students) TOTAL ~ 700 Ongoing… Training students, mentors, PEFS & academic staff involved. Daily system work, ensuring all OAR documents created and sent

  6. 19/20 academic year moving forward…. From Sep 2019 trimester 1: Plan to have ALL Nursing Students with exception to midwifery on My Progress Adult Nursing 1st year - 393, 2nd year - 351, 3rd year - 314 Child Nursing 1st year - 103, 2nd year - 98, 3rd year - 72 Mental Health 1st year – 81, 2nd year – 87, 3rd year – 46 Learning Disabilities 1st year - 61, 2nd year – 45, 3rd year - 41 TOTAL ~ 1692 (not including midwifery)

  7. What is different from the Paper OAR? There is no difference, except electronic version The principles and processes are the exact same as the paper OAR Student and Mentor work together and completes all of forms on the Students my progress account Mentor receives email confirmation every time a form is completed Mentor is then linked to individual students account to view all previous/future forms If new to the system, the mentor is sent a welcome email with their own log in details to view students work

Using online https://enu.mkmapps.com/ Ensure web browsers are up to date – chrome, IE, firefox Above link tested in various locations with no issues Different user roles – student, mentor, tutor, system admin Main sections – Home, assessments, completed assessments, feedback, timesheets, gallery, progress & reports (framework/ checklists terminology)

Using App Free download from Apple Store/ google play etc (icon above) Ensure ‘enu’ selected as service ID when logging in Main sections – similar layout as online When using app –Ensure sync when connected to internet (WIFI or data) Documents CANNOT be started on app, saved and then completed on web later

Key Points Principles and procedure as per paper OAR Support in place for students and placement areas – PEFs and David Network in place to resolve any issues Please remember – all placement forms need to be done on the students my progress account and the mentor will be giving access as soon as the first form is completed(pre-practice learning activities/ preliminary interview)
