Resolving Printer Not Found Error for HP Printers

If your HP printer is not found, start by installing the HP software and adding a device. If the printer is still not detected, click on "Advanced Search Options" and enter the printer's IP address. If you still face issues, cancel and navigate to Services (msc), stop and restart HP services. You may need to reinstall the NetDeviceManager via the setup disk. Make sure to uninstall any hidden HP printer entries in Device Manager and attempt to add the printer again. Complete the setup to ensure proper configuration.

  2. FIRST INSTALL HP SOFTWARE AND THEN ADD A DEVICE

  3. IF NO PRINTER FOUND CLICK ON ADVANCED SEARCH OPTIONS

  4. ENTER IP ADDRESS OF HP PRINTER AND SEARCH AGAIN

  5. IF STILL SAYS NO PRINTER FOUND CLICK ON CANCEL

  6. GO TO SERVICES.MSC - STOP AND THEN RESTART HP SERVICES

  7. ADD HP PRINTER THROUGH THE NETWORK AGAIN

  8. IF STILL SAYS NO PRINTER FOUND

  9. EXPLORE SOFTWARE DISK - OPEN SETUP - THEN NETDEVICEMANAGER

  10. UNINSTALL AND REINSTALL NETDEVICEMANAGER.MSI

  11. REPAIR NETDEVICEMANAGER.MSI AND THEN RESTART HP SERVICES

  12. CLICK ON SHOWHIDDEN DEVICES UNDER VIEW IN DEVICE MANAGER

  13. UNINSTALL HP PRINTER ENTRY UNDER MULTIFUNCTIUON ADAPTER

  14. ADD HP PRINTER AGAIN

  15. PRINTER FOUND OVER NETWORK

  16. ENABLE HP PRINTER ENTRY IN DEVICE MANAGER BEFORE CLICKING ON NEXT

  17. PRINTER DETECTED -- SETUP COMPLETE

  18. CONFIGURING HP DEVICE

  19. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION COMPLETE
