  3. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

  5. Eternal life refers not only to the eternal quantity but divine qualityof life. It means literally, “Life of the age to come”....this life for believers in the Lord Jesus is experienced before heaven is reached. (John MacArthur)

  13. “KNOW”- in Greek, “Ginosko” – meaning to understand completely, to know absolutely.

  14. To know someone, in this context means having a personal relationship with the person.
