Purpose of SHCC • NISD’s response to requirements of Chapter 37 of the Texas Education Code • To provide the best learning environment for students • Promote safety and an atmosphere conducive to learning. • Teaches students self-discipline through making decisions and understanding consequences • Addresses school-related issues • Reviews student related Board policies and administrative procedures • Serve as a resource for basic information that is needed by parents and students during the school year
