Did you know? • There are 20 million children in India, who are victims of Child Labour. • More than 10 Million children in the world are engaged in kind of economic activity, which deprives them of proper education. • 79% of children under the age of 3 in India are inflicted by Anaemia. • 40% of children in India are malnourished until the age of 5. • There are more than thousand charities for children in India, which fight against child labour and other atrocities done to children.

They take care of child’s basic needs, which include food, clothing, shelter and most important of all, education. • These charities are known to carry several project, campaigns, and programmes for elevating the living conditions of underprivileged children. • They work hard for supporting the fundamental rights of children and protecting them against poverty, hunger and any form of discrimination. • Organizations like CRY work hard to provide access of healthcare and basic education to children.
