  4. No comparison is made in the Positive Degree. Ex.- These grapes are sweet. The word than is added in the Comparative Degree. Ex.- Anjali is taller than Seema. The definite article the is used before the Superlative Degree. Ex.- Anita is the cleverest in the class.
