  1. Step by Step Guide for Guided Access on iPhone

  2. Introduction When you buy an iPhone, you get a minimal option to lock your apps or data, unlike an Android device. This is because Apple has quite restrictions about the apps available via the app store, whereas Android has a whole new era of applications. But Apple has come up with an inbuilt feature, as they do not want you to compromise on your security. This feature is called as Guided Access. Apple builds premium devices, and they will never let your security be compromised. User satisfaction means the world to them. So, do not be jealous of your friends with Android phones. Let's discuss how to use guided access on iPhone:

  3. Step 1 • First of all, you need to set up Guided Access on iPhone. For this, go to Settings, then General and select Accessibility. Under Accessibility, you will get an option called as guided access. Turn on the Guided Access and set the passcode under passcode settings. • Check out: Detailed guide on Guided access on iPhone XR

  4. Step 2 • Once done, all you now need to do is open the app, and press the home button (iPhone which has a home button) or Lock Button (Devices which do not have a home button like iPhone X, XS and XR) three times and you enter the guided access mode. Now you have an option to start the Guided access on iPhone XR, XS, X or any other model.

  5. Step 3 • With the screen also, you can mark out the area, which you want to protect from being clicked. In other words, you never need a third party app to secure your privacy if you know how to use guided access on the iPhone.

  6. Conclusion Now that you know how to use guided access on iPhone, ensure that you remember the passcode to unlock it, else it will be a little challenging to get it back to normal mode. Also, remember the passcode for the guided access and passcode to unlock your phone generally is different, so ensure you remember it well.

  7. Thank You
