  2. Domain names You are going to prepare a presentation for a group of small business owners. They are interested in learning more about how the internet works and you have been asked to explain what is meant by a “domain name”.

  3. How will you present your work? You need to research the following topics. Each one will need at least one slide with text and accompanying graphics. What is the definition of a “domain name”? What is a subdomain? How does a domain name link to an IP address? What can you tell about a site from the sections of the domain name e.g. .sch.uk? How do you register a domain name?
