Download the kiosk (Student Test Workstation) installers from the Technology page https://nm.measuredprogress.org/das/support/NM/STW-portal.htm Follow the Measured Progress installation instructions • Don’t assume that any methods other than those provided by MP will work! Download & Install Kiosk

  5. Test administrator computers should be hardwired • A hardwired connection for the test administrator machine is highlyrecommended even if students are testing wirelessly Disable any power-saving settings Prepare Test Administrator Computers

  6. Disable any power-saving settings • Adjust student computers with wireless connections to prevent hibernation (e.g., students may have periods of inactivity during writing assessments) Student Login Tickets can only be used once during a testing event Prepare Student Computers

  7. Configure your anti-virus solution for online testing • Disable live scanning during the test period Reduce traffic on school networks during testing • Disable cell phones and other network device usage not associated with the test Prepare Environment

  8. Close all applications before opening the testing software • Closing applications that automatically open when the computer starts, including LanSchool and LanDesk, will provide additional bandwidth during testing Per PED guidelines, an individual test administrator should actively proctor no more than 25 students per test event Prepare for Testing
