  2. Introduction “You get all the good feelings and a paycheck.” In this career there is a growing competition to gain a job in a law firm. It takes hard work and determination to achieve it and some experience from a summer job at one can go a long way. A law career can make a great impact on someone by helping them succeed in the court. That’s why I would like to be a lawyer so I can help and support the non guilty or support companies through patent wars. I will be researching the nature of work, working conditions, training, qualifications, job outlook, employment, earnings, and occupations related to the field of law to find out if this suits me.

Nature Of Work  Advise and represent clients in courts, before government agencies, or in private legal matters  Communicate with their clients and others  Conduct research and analysis of legal problems  Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses  Present facts in writing or verbally to their clients or others and argue on their behalf  Prepare and file legal documents, such as lawsuits, appeals, wills, contracts, and deeds

  9. Summary Over the last few days researching this career, it was everything I expected from the hard work to the paycheck. It’s a career if you got the time for, considering it’s 7 years of school all together. Being a lawyer would be a great choice for me because I like working hard and it’s a challenge. I’ve always wanted to go into law since I was in kindergarten. It would be a great learning time for seeing all the different types of cases and helping people through them. You should always know what you want to be so you can work towards your goal. It will be worth the time and money to be a lawyer.
