Caddo. By:Zoë Runnels Mr.Born 4 th grade. Religion. The Caddo were a part of a larger religious culture called the mound builders. They Looked Like. The Caddo looked very similar to the Mexicans although they didn't`t live near Mexico.

  2. Religion • The Caddo were a part of a larger religious culture called the mound builders.

  3. They Looked Like The Caddo looked very similar to the Mexicans although they didn't`t live near Mexico

  4. Foods • They were farmers so they planted crops and they also hunted

  6. Population • 1,500 (estimation)- -200,000 • 1,990(census)- -296 Caddo in Texas. • 1,960(estimate) 8,500- -10,000

  7. Customs • Caddo men had a customs of weeping and wailing when greeting strangers.guests were welcomed with much ceremony ,gifts,and food. A crowd would gather to meet the new visitor.

  8. Hair • Their hair was black and long. Some of the hunters shaved their heads.

  13. Geographic Location • The Caddo were located in the eastern Texas

  14. Skin • Their skin was usually tan, and when they wear bleeding they would wipe it of with water
