  3. Content and Language Objectives • Content Objectives- Students will explore the concept of appeasement. • Language Objectives- Students will create a political cartoon demonstrating their knowledge of appeasement.

  4. Appeasement • An act of appeasing. • The condition of being appeased. • The policy of granting concessions to potential enemies to maintain peace. • (Giving in, to an enemy, to avoid conflict)

  5. Create An Appeasement Cartoon Criteria: • Illustrate a situation in which someone is giving in to an aggressor. • Use words • Use pictures • Fill the page
