Company High Value Advantages • Our company specializes in high value shipments. • Below are some key points that we implement to make sure that your valuables reach their destination safely and most importantly on time: • $250,000 in cargo insurance with no limitation on goods. • Dispatchers available 24 hours 7 days a week in case of any emergencies. • 85% of our trucks have real time GPS tracking devices which allow us to acquire locations at all times. • 4 full time mechanics that keep our equipment in pristine condition • Our fully fenced terminal is centrally located in Los Angeles, CA spreading to over 2 acres. • We have a high security procedure that all drivers have to follow in order to move our high value shipments. • High Risk Driver Requirements • Checklist: • Driver(s) has performed and has completed daily condition report for all equipment. • Driver(s) has fueled before pick-up. • Driver(s) is well rested prior to pick-up. • Driver(s) witnessed the trailer / container number on the Bill of Lading (BOL). • Driver(s) and the shipper signed the BOL. • Driver(s) will not take the load home. • Driver(s) will never leave the trailer and / or truck at a truck stop or any unsecured location. • Driver(s) will stay on major roads and avoid secondary. • Driver(s) will not make unauthorized stops. • Driver(s) will watch for signs of being followed. • Driver(s) will contact their dispatch if they suspect that they are being followed. • Driver(s) will not stop within (200) miles from the origin or destination. • Driver(s) will communicate the status of their trip to dispatch by noon PST, daily. • Driver(s) will avoid rest areas if possible. • Driver(s) will notify dispatch if out of tractor. • Driver(s) will keep unit in sight if possible. • Driver(s) should never uncouple the unit. If necessary, the driver(s) will attach King Pin Lock. • Driver(s) will stop engine, remove key, lock truck, and keep keys on themselves whenever they need to be away from the vehicle. • Driver(s) will survey area around unit before walking away. • If a stop is necessary, Driver(s) will back trailer against wall or pole to prevent doors from being opened.
