Project Description • Duty Business travel flights assignment for site support is a problem because of the need for the right assignment taking into account the followings : • Deciding which team members from each group of 30 members in the company are needed for the task • Taking into account system constraints (du to company policy or managerial decisions) • Taking into account personal constraints of each team member.

  3. Project Description • Our solution is to create a useful, reliable and simple system to use that will help with the decision which of the employees are preferable on going on a mission. • To support this we will : • Create a dynamic rule engine that will take into account both the specific demands of each mission and the personal constraints of each employee. Rules can be added or changed. • Generate, with the help of a suitable algorithm, a list of possible prioritized candidates. • Support a world wide access to the application through the webthat will supply all company users a rich and comfort interface.

  4. Software interface & Tools • For the following interfaces we will use the presented tools : • Web GUI for client use. Will be done using HTML and JavaScript (under conventions of J2EE) • Application logic . will be written in java and will run on an application server using WebLogic (development will be done under Eclipse IDE) • Managed database. will be done using MSSQL.
