Example of LessonUnit-1 theme: Annual Events & Calendar日本の年間行事とカレンダー <Objectives> • Use technology to research Japanese annual events in a month. • Organize information digitally and give oral presentation based on 5 W. • Find photo or drawing that match with a month they researched and create Haiku then add it on the Japanese calendar. <Standard> NH.COD.3.3: Use readily available technology tools and digital literacy skills to present cultural information in the target language. <Activities> Research: Web Research Presentation: Power Point presentation or any other digital programs. Product: Create Haiku and type it on the Japanese calendar. <Assessment> Formative (25%) : Home work check, Preparation of their presentations, Student & Teacher pre conference of presentation. Summative (75%): Oral Presentation measured by rubric. (Peer assessment 50% + Teacher assessment 50%) Product measured by rubric and Tests.
