  4. Advantages – Students • More diverse experiences • May be easier to understand • Redundancy in multiple formats • Allow experiences outside the classrooms

  5. Advantages - Instructors • Improve the flow and clarity of lectures • More coherent and organized • Easy to incorporate graphs, charts, movies, and sounds

  6. Disadvantages - Students • Lack of imagination • Students may not have the academic skills necessary

  7. Disadvantages - Instructors • Preparation is time consuming • Lots of training • Computer-based instruction can replace classroom instruction
