  • Does not allow the baseline shape files (from Dynamap, formally known as GDT) to be edited
  • Allows the following to modified:
    • Links (shows traffic conditions)
    • Shields
    • Uninstrumented roadways

  • A network (which contains nodes / links / lanes) is loaded
  • Networks are identified by TSS provider name and center ID
  • Networks are displayed on top of the base map, but are not part of it
  • After networks are edited, saving makes the map available to operators

  • Nodes should be placed on or near the freeway on the correct side for the direction of traffic

    • Roadway names
    • Mile marker (note that when placing mile markers the “number” auto increments to facilitate placing multiple mile markers)
  • Shields must be saved independently of links – two editors in one

  • Allows the SunGuideSM Administrator to customize “DMS Relationships”
  • DMS relationships are used by Incident Management to identify which signs should be included in a recommended response plan
  • Allows the following to modified:
    • Nodes (virtual decision points)
    • DMS sequence attributes
