Behind the fame • John Lennon made a skiffle group turning 16.Paul McCartney joined the band as a guitarist when he met John that July • The Beatles were an English rock band That were very popular back in the 60’s • By 1962, the band members were John Lennon, Ringostarr, Paul McCartney & George Harrison. • They Played in clubs at Liverpool and Hamburg for 3 years. Each Night building there reputation. • They gained Popularity in the UK after there first hit single “love me do” • The band later on worked on other genres from pop ballads to psychedelic rock. Rock and Roll

  3. Their inspiration Some of Their first influences were little Richard, Carl Perkins, Chuck berry and of course, Elvis Presley. Some other of their influences were Buddy holly, Eddie Cochran, Roy Orbison and The everly Bros.

The Original artists • Many other people were in the same genre as Rock and Roll like The Beatles • Some of the most famous artists were: Madonna, Elvis Presley, Stevie wonder, R.E.M., Michael Jackson, The beach boys, The rolling stones, And many more. The Top hits • The Beatles gained popularity in the UK after their first hit single “Love me do” • They are Especially Known for Rock and Roll Music though they also did other genres from pop Ballads to psychedelic rock • After their first hit, They got the nickname the “Fab four ” When the Beatles success grew more. • In 1966 they released Revolver, 1967 they made Sgt pepper`s lonely heart club band and then in 1968 They released The Beatles. Abbey road was released in 1969. Critics would call these albums the most influential and Included some of their most finest music. • The Beatles are the most bestselling Band in history and are still in demand even after Four decades over their break-up. • They sold more albums then any other artist in the united states and in 2008, topped Billboard magazines top all time hot 100 artists
