  4. Organization of the Table • The table is organized into different groups of elements. • All elements in the same column belong to the same group. • Each group has different properties. • Some Periodic Tables colour code the groups.

  5. Learning Your Table Using pg 120 in the textbook: Colourand label your table to show the following groups.(Note: Hydrogen is it’s own group!) • Alkali Metals • Alkali Earth Metals • Transition Metals • Metalloids • Non-Metals • Halogens • Nobel Gases
