  1. CHECKLIST BASIC OFF-PAGE SITE AUDITING ANYTHING ABOUT SEO

  2. SITE AUDITING Site auditing is the first step in search engine optimisation. It gives you an overview of the current website status and actionable recommendations for improvements. To learn more, you can read my previous post about its frequently asked questions. It tackles the basics from definition to cost. I also listed ten tools that will help SEO auditors analyse and improve their websites. There are two parts of site auditing: on-page and off-page. On my previous post, I have discussed the basic on-page site auditing and its factors: indexing and redirect checks, crawl issues, site speed, and search console.  To cover the second part of site auditing, I’m going to write about the basic off-page checklist. Like my previous post, this article aims to simplify Matt Jackson’s Basic Audit Checklist.

  6. LINK ANALYSIS Use domain authority, page authority, trust flow, and citation flow to gauge relative competition Investigate their backlink portfolio Note: understand and mark their SEO strategy for success
