CCSA STANDARDS CCSA started to work on association standards since 2012, and is designated as one of the pilot organizations in the national standardization reform. Up to now, CCSA has approved and published about 80 CCSA standards. Many of them have been implemented and referenced by enterprises and organizations, such as • Cloud service agreement reference framework • Government Purchase Cloud Service These standards have become technical references for government procurement of cloud services.
CHALLENGES • Standardization in the Internet era • De facto standards, Shorter Innovation Cycles • Open source • Software based, New player and Eco-system • Meet with challenges from Forums • Repositioning and review of working procedures?
STRATEGIC DIRECTION Reposition CCSA: who we are? what we produce? • Restructure working areas and organization. • Adjust CCSA’s constitution and deliverables, including: • Work on new categories of deliverables and working procedure to allow alliances and fora to develop standards in CCSA. • Adjust organizational structure and approval process to • allow alliances and fora to develop standards in CCSA. • Considering establish new body and working procedure for open source. • Explore new modes of cooperation with other technical alliances and fora
