  4. Annual Neighborhood Revitalization Campaign Community Connection

Targets Neighborhoods most in need of improvement • Ensure CDBG resources go to homeowners most in need • Leverage federal, city and donation funds with volunteer labor for optimal impact • Resolve lingering code and life safety issues in a proactive and community affirming manner Advance South Salt Lake’s strategic objective to establish SAFE, CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL CITY

CRITERIA • CDBG Eligible Census Tracts • Code Enforcement and animal control cases • Police calls • Number of qualifying owner-occupied single-family homes Homeowners can apply for and receive grants for rehabilitation projects City-designates “Street Captains” for building support and community engagement with residents Community Connection

  19. 4.19 acres of high-density, residential development – currently underway • 2-phase construction of 145 apartment units • Phase 1 – 59 units, 3600 sq. ft. for clubhouse • Phase 2 – 86 units • Project will be owned and managed by the Housing Authority of the County of Salt Lake Millcreek Family Apartments
