  2. Daily Language Practice • 1. On June 14 1942 thirteen-year-old Anne Frank begun a diary in which she recorded her hopes thoughts and dreams. (3) • 2. Anne Frank died in a concentration camp in 1945. Her diary survived. (1)

  4. Adjectives • Modify a noun or pronoun • Some adjectives are made from proper nouns. • They are capitalized. • For instance, if it was made in America, the proper adjective is American.
