Artist Statement All my life I’ve been very interested with animals, especially wild animals. I try to get good shots of the animals doing normal things when they’re not looking at the camera. My goal is to get as many different animals as possible. When I shoot my pictures, I take many of the animal doing something, like eating or running or playing and choose the clearest most in focus picture. I chose the theme of wild animals because I wanted to have a different project than most people. I also try and capture the animals mood and show it in the picture. My current work is getting better and better each time I shoot. I’ve never taken pictures of animals or any type of live moving objects before so its still new to me, but going well. Every time I shoot, I try to get different animals. I’m also challenging myself to try more black and white photos this year.
