  2. Ghettos • On September 21, 1939 ghettos (areas of a cities where Jews where forced to lived) where created. Its main purpose was to isolate and control the Jews along with genocide. The people in the ghettos staved, got shot in the streets, fought, or committed suicide because 8the torches days there. They had a curfew of 6 o’clock, had all valuables taken from them, and had to wear a yellow star (Star of David) on they’re arms. The ghettos is one of the important memories of the Holocaust that will insure it will never happen again.   3. Kristallnacht • The Kristallnact meaning ‘night of the broken glass’ happened in 1938. A guy named HeschelGrynszpon got a letter from his sister about her having to go to the concentration camps and that little letter threw him off the edge. He brought a gun and went to the German Embassy and shot at Rath and some other people.   4. Medical experiments • At first the Jews where allowed to volunteer to help with the medical experiments. They had to be informed about what might happen to them and what they’re going to be experimented on but, in 1933 the fundamental rules where ignored and people here forced to be the experiments. The most used the ‘test subjects’ to see what the human body can withstand and to help make medicine for the untreatable things. They had two categories they fit in. 1. They satisfied he medical ethics and medical practice but broke the moral law. 2. They violated medical ethics. • Examples: Chambers for High Altitude for how much air pressure the body can handle. Freezing until you pass out from shock, they used that one for medical purpose. Sea water experiments that resolved on the Gypsies that had to drink .5 or 1 liter a day for fifteen days for lost at sea people. Others used infants, dwarfs and young twins for genital organs.   5. White Rose Movement • Leaves of the white Rose ‘to strive for the renewal of mortally’ wounded German’s spirit started in the University of Munich. Hans and Sophie Scholl with their friend Christopher Probst and a few other people tried to go agents German’s destruction.
