Developing a demand led curriculum • Mapping exercise of TTR provision across Sussex • Research into existing curriculum content, organisation and design • Consultation with employers, teachers and past students on curriculum expectations and needs SLN - Travel Tourism & Retail Curriculum Team

Identifying the student constituency • Traditional learners at level 4 entry from schools • Industry practitioners CPD for both FdA and MA routes to embrace the widening participation imperative • Recognition of need to further explore perceptions and aspirations of level 3 learners in next research phase SLN - Travel Tourism & Retail Curriculum Team

Creating progression opportunities • Access to FdA from diverse entry points • Access/HE level ‘0’/Progression Accords? • Articulated progression from FdA to top up programmes • Curriculum design to incorporate study skills and research approaches • Addressing preconceived negativity towards FdA’s in both HE institutions and in employers • Progression to Masters awards • Traditional and APL SLN - Travel Tourism & Retail Curriculum Team

  5. Making the partnerships work • Identification of critical success factors (Ref.
