Status of Harmonization TG8 PHY • According to the list of proposals in DCN 14-332r0, the harmonization of TG8 PHY involves basically: • 1) Marco (NICT) DCN 14-248r1 (sub-GHz, 2.4 GHz, 5.7 GHz bands), • 2) BJ (ETRI) DCN 14-271r2 (2.4 GHz, 5.7 GHz bands), • 3) Igor (NICT) DCN 14-273r0 (UWB band). • 4) Billy (Decawave) DCN 14-333r0 (UWB band). Status of Harmonization TG8 PHY • Igor (NICT) and Billy (Decawave) will provide harmonize UWB PHY text for the Draft Standard Document. • Currently, they are working on it. • Marco (NICT) and BJ (ETRI) will provide harmonize text for the ISM bands for the Draft Standard Document. • Just recently, NICT and ETRI reached an agreement.   4. Status of Harmonization TG8 PHY • However, there is only one issue still open: • NICTA-NICT has a proposal for power control at the PHY level. • Interdigital has a proposal for power control at the MAC level. • However, both proposals are not complementary. • During the July meeting, we expect to solve this issue.
