  1. Communications Alert INTI STRIKES A THIRD INCREDIBLE WIN! GRIT, PERSEVERANCE and SPORTSMANSHIP! This WINNING FORMULA has once again proved the resilience and incredible performances of INTI’s Sportsmen and Sportswomen who made a historical sweep in the Malaysian Association of Private Colleges and Universities (MAPCU) Sports Tournament 2002. Yes, folks. It is official! INTI College Malaysia (ICM) was declared the overall MAPCU Champion for the third consecutive year and this means we get to keep the TROPHY! 17 private colleges and universities vied for this coveted trophy through 14 sports competitions held over a period of 9 long gruelling months. INTI soared as the champion in the very first MAPCU Sports Tournament in 1999. Since then, it has been victory after victory for INTI. INTI’s formidable opponents over the last 3 years were Sunway College and Help Institute. This time, they could only achieve a total of 48 and 34 points respectively, while INTI College Malaysia clinched the title with a total score of 70. The other main teams were KDU, Taylor’s College, Kolej Teknologi Ikram, IMU, MFI, Nilai College, Monash, Kemayan ATC, APIIT, SIT, Kolej Bandar Utama, SAL College Kuala Lumpur, ALAM and INTI College Subang Jaya. Led by Mr. Lim Boon Hooi of the Students Affairs Department, INTI College Malaysia emerged as winners in the road relay, basketball, table tennis, netball and volleyball competition. INTI also fielded its teams in badminton, bowling, street soccer, swimming and futsal. Said a jubilant Mr. Lim, “This TROPHY is certainly a reflection of the BLOOD, SWEAT and TEARS of the team who gave all they got.” KUDOS TO THE TEAM FOR YOUR SUPERB WIN!! COMMUNICATIONS ALERT updates staff on the latest happenings within INTI. Information carried here usually will be brief; details of events will be published later either in INTI Staff News or INTI News.
