CAIS & FIMS Contract Status • New TM in town. • Volunteered to cover CAIS and FIMS • Objective is to not let the momentum drop • Learning TM by doing. • Have another full time job • Funding: • ME and NNSA have already paid fair share. FE has also contributed. • S-2 taxing letter going out soon. • Should be good for the year.

  3. CAIS & FIMS Status • This Year: • Complete centralization • More models • Costworks actions • Actions related to FIMS webification

  4. CAIS & FIMS Status • For next year: • Impact from E.O. 13327 (signed 2-4-04) • F&I Data is important to WH. • New Fed-wide measures (read data) may have to be imposed • Implementation schedule unknown

  5. CAIS & FIMS Status • NRC Final Report on F&I is due 9-30-04 • Interim report (2-27-04) noted “impressed by the robustness of FIMS & CAIS” • New actions/measures (read data) may be recommended • Implementation schedule unknown

  6. CAIS & FIMS Status • Data Validation in FIMS (430.1B) • Random samples of data fields related to AUI, ACI, & RPV • Source document check • Quarterly Reporting to S-2 on AUI, FCI and maintenance (430.1B) • May necessitate multiple updates cycles
