  2. Warm Up Think on your notecard complete the following Front: Write hopes & dreams Back: How they will obtain these hopes & dreams

  3. Pair With a person sitting near you share your hopes & dreams notecard.

  4. Explain the process • We are going to do an activity that will assist you in achieving your hopes & dreams. • Our school needs clear expectations and it will be your job to help identify what YOU need to help YOU succeed. • As your teacher I will be your voice, we will be doing an activity to get this classes top 5 expectations and then our administration will use these to build the school expectations for everyone!

  5. Setting Our Expectations for Seaford High School What things do you expect • By your self, create a list of the expected behaviors of students at Seaford High.

  6. Setting Our Expectations for Seaford High School Count off by 5’s • Collaborate with your number group, to come up with the top 3 student expectations. • Write the top 3 on chart paper and post on the wall.

  7. Setting Our Expectations for Seaford High School Gallery walk Take 4 dots and place next to the expectations that you feel are the most important.

  8. Our Expectations Think Looking at these expectations: What do these look like to you? How will these expectations help our classes, hallways, cafeteria, the entire school? Pair: Tell your partner what you thought in relation to each of these questions. Share: So what was said?

  9. Exit Ticket On the bottom of your handout answer this question What will my role be in upholding the expectations set for our school?
