School Improvement Summit Small Group Action Planning Saturday, April 28, 2012 12:30-3:30 Outcomes: By the end of this retreat, participants will have: • Presented their personal mission statement for the summit • Defined the topic/issue and created a goal/objective • Analyzed the available data and identified root causes • Completed a “Force Field Analysis” of the topic/issue • Created an action plan in order to address the preventers and drivers of the topic/issue in order to meet the goal

GOAL #2: Wilson High School will meet its performance goals in testing. • Advanced Placement Testing • Advanced Placement Performance – 46% of scholars will earn a “3” or better on AP tests • Advanced Placement Participation – 36% of scholars in the 11th and 12th grade will be enrolled in at least ONE advanced placement course • DCCAS • Reading – 73% of the cohort will score Proficient or Better • Math – 62% of the cohort will score Proficient or better • Scholastic Aptitude Testing • SAT Performance – Increase the average score (both verbal and math) by 23 points (1,010)
